If you have any additional ideas I would LOVE to hear them! Went out to our local community centre with my kids for the morning, came back with a lovely layer of red paint down the side of my jeans. In honour of this little incident I thought I would post about home stain removal remedies... Top Remedies for Stain Removal
-Sprinkle on clothes ASAP, then let sit for 20-30 min. Brush off and wash.
-Juice it, leave it in the sun. Wash.
-Be sure the fabric isn't too delicate.
-Place the stain between two pieces of tissue paper and press with the warm iron. Wax melts and transfers onto the towel. Replace paper often to absorb more wax.
-Today I tried using a baby wipe then some hairspray to get the paint out of my jeans it is seemed to work.
-Apply and let soak about 2-3 minutes then wash.
-Soaks up the wine. -Could also pour white wine over a red wine spill.
-Paste not gel. Other Links: Anyone have any home remedies that they swear by? |
