DIY Projects for the Self-Sufficient Homeowner: 25 Ways to Build a Self-Reliant Lifestyle by Betsy Matheson.
- Bought this book for my husband as a Christmas gift last year. He was excited to receive it (and not just "Ah, hmm...great gift hunny! Fake smile kind of excited either).
- It has lots of great/ useful information including info on gardening, compost, solar power, livestock, use of grey water, etc.
- We are in the process of trying out some of the projects from the book including building a solar food dehydrator, container gardening and composting.
- Projects in the book seem pretty straight forward and easy to follow.
- A good read. I don't regret having spent the money on it.
Collins Gem - Sas Survival Guide by John Wiseman.
- Another Christmas gift for my husband. He was not only very excited to get this book but has read it cover to cover, highlighted, created tabs from sticky notes for quicker reference, re-read it and carried it in his backpack which he takes to work and school.
- I bought him the pocket edition which would be great for a Bug Out Bag, vehicle, or to carry in your backpack to work and school!
- I have done some reading in this as well and found the information to be incredibly useful and would recommend this as an addition to your prepping library!
- We have taken it on camping trips with us and tried out some of the ideas in the book.
- Worth every cent!

- Bought the book on Amazon.ca for about $11.
- Bought it to add to our prepper reference library, a good first aid book is a must!
- From what I have read so far, it appears to be an excellent resource.
- It had ideas in it that I haven't heard of including some home-made remedies.
- Deals with emergency care in survival situations.
- I would recommend it, good resource for a reasonable price.
