This production depicts what would happen if the United States were hit by a cyber attack that took down the power grid.
Thoughts:
- This show makes its point and a very convincing one at that!
- I feel like anyone who needs some motivation to prep, especially those people who believe prepping is pointless, should watch this show!
- It reminds me just how quickly society breaks down in the event of a disaster and just how barbaric people can become.
- A good reminder as to how much of society is dependant on electricity.
- This show brought up a number of points that hadn't occurred to this husband and wife prepper team. It also gave us a few ideas to add to our preps ie: the use of decoy food!
- Makes me shake my head at non preppers who refuse to take measures to protect themselves during times of disaster because they assume that someone will be there to hold their hands and take care of them in a crisis.
- We recommend watching this show...it's worth a watch. We viewed it here on Youtube, if you are interested.
**Warning: My only complaint. If you are like me and get motion sick easily...I very nearly did not make it through this hour and a half long presentation and spent the next hour afterwards trying not to vomit! Lots of shaky camera.
What did other viewers think of the show? Are your preps sufficient?
Panic ensued which prompted a mad dash to the grocery store where people snatched up every single bottle of water in the city...yes the stores quickly ran out. Some individuals had even gone out and purchased a large amount of water and then tried to sell it online at ridiculous prices for profit.
The hilarious/ pathetic part of this little story is the fact that all they had to do was BOIL THEIR WATER!
We had heard people complaining as well about how disgusting the water tasted and how gross they felt after showing in the water. Test results of the water came out after the "crisis" had ended showing that no water had ever been contaminated during this time. :)
All I have to say people is prepare yourselves. You never know when a situation will arise that will force you into difficult circumstances.
