Symptoms of Anaemia (Iron Deficiency) may include:
- headaches
- fatigue
- dizziness
- shortness of breath
- weakness
- pale skin
- chest pain
- frequent infections
- cold hands and feet
- inflammation or soreness of your tongue
- brittle nails
- fast heartbeat
- unusual cravings for non-nutritive substances, such as ice, dirt or starch
- poor appetite, especially in infants and children with iron deficiency anaemia
- an uncomfortable tingling or crawling feeling in your legs (restless legs syndrome)
- light headedness
- can cause serious problems for women who are pregnant

Also to note: You can get iron from eating foods that are rich in the element...the case with the Cambodians is that they can't afford these foods and end up with anaemia.
