How to make:
- Rip up paper, use saw dust, or add some dead leaves put them in a container with water.
- Let the mixture soak, stir it up to help break it down.
- Put the mixture into a press/ mould and squeeze out as much of the water as possible.
- Let it dry in the sun, will take several days to dry completely.
- Use in fire.
My husband made the mould for it himself. We are planning on making these to add to our storage as an additional fire fuel.
One benefit to this is that we have a nearly endless source of flyers delivered to our door on a weekly basis in a large bundle that we can use to make these bricks.
Do you have bored kids? Put them to work shredding paper or teach them the very, simple process so they can make bricks themselves. My little kids enjoyed ripping the papers up for the one we made.
Don't know what these are, check out his youtube video. There are a tonne of videos like this on youtube.
Anyone wish to share their thoughts or experiences with paper briquettes/logs.
